all that tech over coming physical limitations...and yet still not advanced enough to help those inflicted with weak vocal boxes (or the "i'm batman" desease)

Games looking great, setting the atmosphere.. i thought it got a huge delay though?

Awesome artdesign, amazing soundtrack (Tron Legacy type!!!), and its cyborg/machine sci-fi so I am super excited!
Now bring out the game!

PS. The facial expression and the mouth is not impressive, I didnt like the stiffness to it, like Infamous 1.

Funny thing is, all Deus Ex protagonists sound like that, before Bale popularised the gravelly voice in modern movies/games.

I think it was Solid Snake that made the "gritty/sick" voice famous...in games.

Didn't Duke Nukem have the gravel voice to parody other FPS's back in the 90's? I'm pretty sure Snake wasn't the indicator. It's been the Tough Guy voice of choice for a loooong time now...

Who do you think solid snake was inspired by? Check Escape from New york.

Gravel voice is a remnant from rugged hero imagery from way before video games were around, with touchstone characters like Dirty Harry still sending "feeling lucky?" echoes throughout popular culture.

Graphics are actually better than I expected for console versions. Jaggies are the main thing holding them back. Anyway, love the look, sound and atmosphere of this game. I was one of the few who actually enjoyed DE2:IW, but this looks to surpass it in every way.

It wouldn't hurt to tone down the gold and black color scheme a bit though. I know the new "big thing" in games is to pick a color or two and use it to death, but there are other ways to set a mood or convey a feeling without limiting yourself to a very narrow color palette. All bitching aside though, this and Skyrim are really the only two games I need this year. I will probably put more hours into those two games than all others combined!

BTW, to those making fun of the gravely voice, do NOT play Two Worlds 2! It has the worst, fake badass voiced character in the history of gaming. It's like they forced an eastern european 12 year old to smoke a pack a day for a year and learn an american accent before voicing the part. The game is pretty decent, but I am having a hard time overlooking the voice acting...

Has the potential to be GOTY, just hope its not a let down after all this time and hype, dont want to build up my expectations too high but these trailers all look amazing.

Fingers crossed.

Maybe I'm weird, but that sounded like a recommendation to check out 2Worlds2. Going to Youtube!

I love the sci-fi and the look of the whole game but his voice seems too emphatic, as if he is a syllable away from spitting his tongue out.

I think this looks better and fear2 is not among top tier either. Gfx are not everything but just saying.

Great graphics or not this game is what i've been waiting for, for about 10 years. Screw Fallout 3 and Mass Effect the original is the defining western RPG and my all time favorite game. If its half as good i'll still be satisfied.
