For once, we have decided to also show you a bit of the Xbox 360 version of the Colin McRae: Dirt 2 demo. Two days ago we showed you what the Playstation 3 demo looked like when DjMizuhara was behind the controller. In today's video, I am behind the Microsoft wheel for a whole race in cokpit view so you have a chance to see how impressive it can be. The funny thing about the 360 version is that you can see your avatar hanging from the rear view mirror. Useless, so, absolutely indispensable.
Quick gameplay impressions with the 360 wheel
It's a real shame that Xbox 360 owners can't enjoy a very good wheel like the G25. The game is still fun to play even though the Microsoft wheel looks more like a toy to me but it's easy to imagine how incredible it must be with the proper wheel. Once you get a hang of the controls, it's quite easy to do some pretty cool stuff and have a lot of fun - you can even tweak the wheel settings in the option menu if the default setting isn't to your liking. If you own a wheel and it's locked up somewhere in your attic, you might want to give it a try, it's a lot more immersive than using a standard controller.
I have a hard time when a fat bomber rolls around on skated with a parasol cocktail in his hand, whilst doing a pseudo-philosophical monologue about life. It's neither funny or cool, it's just dumb. (19 minutes ago)
@Melmoth: Yeah, but MGS1 has a good balance, 2 and onward doesn't. IMO. (47 minutes ago)
@Megido: that's the beauty of metal gear :). the mix of realism and (wtf) fantasy (1 Hour ago)
@MikeManiac61: He sounds like he's on the toilet with a serious constipation problem :) (3 Hours ago)
Especially on MGS4, he made it sound like he had a clog of saliva in his throat. (4 Hours ago)
@Megido: I think i'm the minority on this, but the VA for Snake (forgot his name) didn't click with me. (4 Hours ago)
I ca suspend my diabelief for walking tanks and cyber ninjas. Bomb planting fatsos with rocket powered rollerblades is a step too far. (6 Hours ago)
