For once, we have decided to also show you a bit of the Xbox 360 version of the Colin McRae: Dirt 2 demo. Two days ago we showed you what the Playstation 3 demo looked like when DjMizuhara was behind the controller. In today's video, I am behind the Microsoft wheel for a whole race in cokpit view so you have a chance to see how impressive it can be. The funny thing about the 360 version is that you can see your avatar hanging from the rear view mirror. Useless, so, absolutely indispensable.
Quick gameplay impressions with the 360 wheel
It's a real shame that Xbox 360 owners can't enjoy a very good wheel like the G25. The game is still fun to play even though the Microsoft wheel looks more like a toy to me but it's easy to imagine how incredible it must be with the proper wheel. Once you get a hang of the controls, it's quite easy to do some pretty cool stuff and have a lot of fun - you can even tweak the wheel settings in the option menu if the default setting isn't to your liking. If you own a wheel and it's locked up somewhere in your attic, you might want to give it a try, it's a lot more immersive than using a standard controller.
put and end to corridor/cinematic/c utscene/qte/playforyousoyouwon'tmissathi ousoyouwon'tmissathing ng experiences, and start to see more games like Prey/BotW and the sort. Nuts&Bolts is an awesome game, as well. We need N&B2 (1 Hour ago)
Prey, just reminded me when i used to lure headcrabs/zombies in Half-Life 1 (1%Hp/Suit), to lasers and eletrick shock cables to zap'em withou loss of ammo. It's like we needed a whole generation to (1 Hour ago)

I mean, didn't you just buy an X to play the same games with better visuals? Your stance doesn't really seem very consistent tbh. (1 Hour ago)
If you have no Interest in either of those things your only option is to move onto some other hobby. Because you're not going to see any mainstream Dev making something truly unique...ever. (1 Hour ago)
@droezelke: whether I sound like a snob or not. It's the truth. The industry is all about playing it safe now. If your after original experiences you have 2 options. Indie or VR (usually also indie) (1 Hour ago)
@Tinks: Do you think EA will go back? They have pushed the boundaries. So 1 step back would seem like a 'good thing'. (4 Hours ago)
