For once, we have decided to also show you a bit of the Xbox 360 version of the Colin McRae: Dirt 2 demo. Two days ago we showed you what the Playstation 3 demo looked like when DjMizuhara was behind the controller. In today's video, I am behind the Microsoft wheel for a whole race in cokpit view so you have a chance to see how impressive it can be. The funny thing about the 360 version is that you can see your avatar hanging from the rear view mirror. Useless, so, absolutely indispensable.
Quick gameplay impressions with the 360 wheel
It's a real shame that Xbox 360 owners can't enjoy a very good wheel like the G25. The game is still fun to play even though the Microsoft wheel looks more like a toy to me but it's easy to imagine how incredible it must be with the proper wheel. Once you get a hang of the controls, it's quite easy to do some pretty cool stuff and have a lot of fun - you can even tweak the wheel settings in the option menu if the default setting isn't to your liking. If you own a wheel and it's locked up somewhere in your attic, you might want to give it a try, it's a lot more immersive than using a standard controller.
@docLEXfisti: i had a feeling the second would be better, just because it didn,t have to deal with the fluff of building up to getting a ship and exploring strange new worlds. (1 Hour ago)
@Moonwalker: did you ride a donkey? (2 Hours ago)
Man, "The Orville" is much better than expected... EP1 was good, but EP2 was great - nice! (3 Hours ago)
@Moonwalker: i've never been to Spain. Would like to go there some day. I've flown a bit though. Riding civil and military planes. Piloted Cessna 172. sat in a F-16D this summer. :) (4 Hours ago)
But Malaga was great. Loved the weather, the hills and mountains. We went to the sea, a zoo, cable car up a mountain and last but not least visited their red light district too, haha. (8 Hours ago)
And it was quite a sight to eventually be above the clouds or see nothing but clouds or sky and no land below you, lovely. (8 Hours ago)
