Dishonored 2 on PS4 Pro

Dishonored 2 on PS4 Pro

As announced by Bethesda recently, we only received our copies of Dishonored 2, on PS4 and PC. We haven't had time to check out the latter yet, though what we've heard about it isn't too promising in terms of performace, but here are a few videos captured on Playstation 4 Pro.

Is there an FOV slider and if no is the default FOV good at least? I sometimes get a little motion sickness with first person games that have narrow fov especially ones with platforming

Hi, I'm not sure if you play on PC or console(s), but for people who get easily affected by FoV constraints, I always recommend playing games on PC whenever possible since almost all games allow you to change either the Field of View or the Camera settings in multiple ways:

- Officially through Display/Graphic settings;
- Unnoficially through a hack or .ini file setting;
- Through mods (The Witcher 3, for example);
- Using Cheat Engine (again, The Witcher 3);
- Using Flawless Widescreen;
- Through game-specific/fan-made softwares (AC: Unity/Syndicate).

I'm sure there's more options, but those are the only ones I remembered at the moment.

Another great thing about PC gaming is that there's G-Sync (from Nvidia) and FreeSync (from AMD) capable PC monitors, which greatly help alleviate motion sickness. They are a little more expensive than PC monitors without them, but you can't put a price on health and comfort, so they're well worth the price difference.

Last, but not least, not all PC monitors are "Flicker Free", and those without it do exacerbate eye strain, tired eyes, dizziness, migraines, headaches, nausea, and many other unpleasant symptoms, which can hasten the appearance of motion sickness indirectly.

    AndreasZ94 I haven't finished a really long game like that in years, last one i can remember was witcher 3. With rdr2 I didn't even play anything else, it feels kinda weird playing a different game now. (16 Hours ago)
