This looks like it is going to be a very good thief-type of game

I have to keep reminding myself that they purposely showing the overpowered version of the game.

He means the powers in the game. You can't unlock them all in the real game, you have to pick and choose what you want to unlock, but all of these demonstrations have them all unlocked....at least i assume that is what he means?

Could be... that's an odd way to demonstrate the game though. Then again, how many godmode demos have we been subjected to?

This is what I mean. I get really amped at the thought of the game, but the videos always have you so incredibly overpowered it doesn't look like much fun. Like the teleporting thing pretty much takes the challenge out of transversing in the game.

It actually makes it look pretty boring

It's like Prototype meets Clive Barker's Undying, only more boring than both.

I have a feeling this will be a 7/10 game. It just looks rough around the edges, especially on the animation front.

Also they are still spelling Dishonoured incorrectly if they wish to sell it outside of the US. It smacks of laziness and arrogance.

I like the game .. but I've got a bad feeling about some features !

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth the arcade shadow dancer is also nice, built on the same gameplay foundations as arcade shinobi, but a bit weaker level design. i also love rolling thunder 1&2, which are also very similar (19 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i played a bit of shinobi and kunoichi on ps2, but they are really just shinobi in name. (20 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth game gear shinobi is more like the arcade version than the mega drive ones. (20 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I'd love some kind of real Sega revival. (41 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I like a bunch of Shinobi games. Even the Game Gear had great Shinobi games. Also the PS2 Shinobi was too quickly forgotten. (42 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth my fav Sega game is Shinobi (original arcade). I still play it now and then. I think they have other, more recognizable and iconic characters/brands, but for me those games don't hold up as well today (48 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Wasn't really bashing it anyway. I love a lot of Sega stuff, and I think Shenmue is okay. Maybe a bit overrated is all. (1 Hour ago)
