The english website Eurogamer gives us a lot of news concerning Doom III, of which the shipping date seems to be closer than expected. Supervised by Vicarious Visions, this conversion will try to be different from the PC version proposing a very nice xbox exclusive option.
In fact, Doom III Xbox will have a co-operative mode, but only playable on Xbox Live (in other words, no split-screen). In the same way, the multiplayer mode will be only accessible online, with 4 players maximum. But there's also good news: the shipping date of the two versions has been confirmed by John Carmack himself, fixed to the end of this year. He better be true...

Back in Holland after my vacation in Malaga, Spain. Two more hours by train and then I'm home. Spain was fucking awesome. (4 Hours ago)
I'd probably be more excited by the prospect of a 3D World port than Odyssey tbh. (6 Hours ago)
