All the tracks in this game look the same, I hope Evolution isn't planning a sequel, please make a new Motorstorm or MotorStorm: Apocalypse 2.

and then... PLEASE make Driveclub 2 with more urban tracks in there!

Looking forward to playing with the updated AI and refined weather tonight. I do agree with tracks though they are a bit samey and none really stand out.

I honestly think this game would of been better without the club bullshit and we could just race in custom lobbies me against everyone else.

The new 5 JP tracks not quite impressive
I mean, the tracks are still quite good looking, but not as Japanese as in GT, they're just like some random sum up of the materials from other tracks...
Or maybe these tracks are not in real life?

I love the Japanese tracks because they're a little wider which leads to more over-taking. Not sure if they're real locations, but it does feel very similar to some Japanese mountain roads I've driven on.

None of the tracks in DC are real life tracks

The very fact that they're too wide means they don't look like the mountain roads in Japan. The size of these roads are like highways you find in Tokyo.

There's plenty of mountain roads and roads that run through small villages that have wide roads in Japan. I live in Japan and I've been here for 9 years, I think I know what I'm thinking about. ;)

Yes, the wider tracks are a huge for online racing! The Bumper car is effected will be a little less prominent.

no they dont use the same assets for each location.. the trees for example are mostly different because they fit the local area and climate. Like the blossoms.

The tracks are wider in response to player feedback.

Can this only be played in online mode? I love racing games, just not so bothered about making BFFs whilst doing so.

All tracks are free patch updates and can be played in single event modes. Tour events come as paid DLC.

You can totally play it offline...just play the single events.

That's good news but people were concerned about the very narrow tracks 6 months before release.

Caught a special offer in a local store so I got this game for a third of its price. I like it, a lot. But I agree that they could take out the whole horrible club thing out. Basically I can't get 5 cars in the game just because I couldn't care for any online interaction which really sucks. The Japanese tracks are gorgeous but still can't shake off the feeling the whole graphics is really dull even during the bright sunlight. So far I like Forza 5 graphics the best.

Yeah graphics in sunny conditions look pretty poor and really shows off the bad AA in the game...But overcast or rain it just looks incredible.

The narrow tracks are awesome too, it's a good mix of both now with Japan added.

From the videos I love everything about the game except the AI which seems to be rash and magically fast.

The AI reminds me of AI from 90's racing games. Very rubber bandy, They also dont react to wet weather so they are able to drive identical in the wet as dry which puts us at a massive unfair advantage.
