God.. noooo.. god please no... The Dialogue at the beginning was so HORRID. It was choppy, it felt stitched together, and poorly, jumping all over the place...

Can anyone pinpoint his voice actor? Sounds really familiar, but I can't make the connection...
The camera angles are so much better and more cinematic during these character interactions. One of the problems in ME1 was that the camera interactions tended to use similar angle over and over.
Not sure what Thane would add in terms of abilities if he becomes a member of your team, unless there are opportunities for stealth kills.
It would be nice if characters did have unique abilities rather than just sharing traits. In ME1 I was a vanguard and had Garrus and Ashley/Liara with me all the time. The other characters were only used if the mission required it, this was due to the fact that the other characters didn't really offer my team anything new.
