i gotta say, based on that footage, brutal legend looks brutally average as far as action games go. i'll be checking it out purely for the wacky story. but the gameplay certainly isnt getting me excited.
That looked f'n rad. Sure, the combat looks average, but I certainly wasn't expecting above average hack'n'slash gameplay; that's more reserved for your NGs and DMCs.
As long as there's some variety and it's not frustrating to play, it's got enough humour, charm, and convincing voice acting in a setting that I downright dig to make it a sure thing for me.
hmm looks average and now only seems to have its very cool art style going for it. Not the type of game I'd play for the story so that's more or less just giving me a reason as to why I'm doing what I'm doing. I was just expecting better in the end.
Eh, I actually thought the action looked pretty 'kick ass' judging by the gameplay footage. It was awesome when he does that special attack to bring down the building.
I wish it was more of a platformer than a hack and slash. I will buy this soley cause psychonauts was such a great game and i'm hoping not to be let down with this one.

Since when did GOW invent the hack 'n slash? Besides, the gameplay doesn't look like GOW at all (except superficially), it looks more like a 3D Golden Axe if you were playing with Gilius Thunderhead.
As it stands, I'm on the fence. Since the footage is early in the game, we're only really seeing Eddie by himself, or with one other party-member. I'm curious to see how the whole "metal army" angle plays out. ;)
