Today's Marketplace update wasn't really as good as the other day's, but still this Backstage video of Crackdown was quite nice, showing a lot of gameplay footage. I still have my reservations about this game, but it certainly has potential.
i watched some gameplay footage of this and it looks really fun. im digging the visual art direction the developers have chosen and the explosions are very impressive.
it also seems very open as i seen that the main character can throw explosive barrels across the street and then shoot a homing rocket toward it to kill the enemies on the other side of the street
anyway, this is one of my top 5 games of e3
1: gears of war
2: too human
3: crackdown
4: mass effect
5: splinter cell
dude.. go and watch some Too human ingame video's because it isnt like the pictures weve seen.. the camera fucks everything up.. and the movements of baldor are just so 2000.. ( that means old, and not fluit)
Yeah, Too Human looks right dodgy at the moment. But then Silicon Knights did develope Eternal Darkness which was a great game, but also very clunky.
Crackdown is looking really sharp at the moment. As mentioned, the art style is very appealing and unique, and game looks to incorperate the best bits of Hulk Ultimate Destruction also.
Just had a look at the back stage video and all xbox360 users should watch out for this game, just the fact that its the same guy that made the first GTA for Dos says alot and from watching the video it looks fresh and they seem to know what we are looking for in a next gen game, and most of all im glad its made just for 360. Im happy its not from rockstar but is from a new maker coz its kinda our game a 360 game.
Welcome to the boards War since you're new I'm going to show you the ropes.. I'm the guy that calls the shots around here, the top dog as many would say :) *runs away before somebody in charge comes*
I grabbed this off the Marketplace for the clarity (my computer is too slow to run 720p vids) and I am soooo looking forward to this game. Online co-op extends this games potential WAY beyond the previous GTA games and I saw a video of the shapechanging supercar morphing into a low profile wedge shaped Lamborghini type vehicle and flipping cars out the way like they weren' there!
nah it doesn't look like crap, and the xbox couldnlt do this without serious slow down. i'm not sayin this is pushing the 360's limits, but the xbox couldn't do this smoothly.

Nope,it looked crap,i mean it looked like an xbox game...
and not much happening on the screen.
I truely think that people are giving the Xbox FFFFAAAAARRRRRRRR too much credit for it's own good. Go back, fire up your Xbox and a copy of any GTA and tell me there's as much going on there as there is in this demo. It won't happen. We have yet to see some serious playtests with the game, but I can't imagine that the "founder" of the GTA series is going to make a shitty game.
Thx Optimusv2 ;) and i really have to agree with munkieNS we should have more faith in our developers and give them the support they need and should the game turn out Sh*t
im sure they would like useful feed back from us the gamers.
this game looks 2 be as fun as GTA was when it first came out no matter how it looks especially with all the games features like on the fly car customization and super human skills/ THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
