The quite controversial David Jones's Crackdown is back in video, with a 20 minutes long presentation. Here is the first half. More details below.
The developers spent most of the presentation showing us some of the "sandbox" aspects of the game. No missions, no story, no cutscenes to be seen in there. You'll just see the main character jumping everywhere, generating as much mayhem as possible and of course some car sequences, this is a GTA-like game after all. Personally I still have some reservations about this game, but it's so over the top that it could become very amusing. At least it will be if the devs take the time to rework the animation so we do not have this rather annoying feeling that this game is using the moon's gravity instead of earth's.
Technically as you'll be able to see by yourself it's much better than before. The game is smooth, the physics engine works nicely, the draw distance is ok and the city seems quite alive. We still do not really know what this game will be all about in the end, but we'll keep an eye open since it definitely has some potential.
Litterally it's like both manufacturers just traded places at the start of this gen. (2 Hours ago)

I mean, it wasn't out of the goodness of sony's heard that PS+ offerings were stellar and they were making exclusive games left right and centre. It was a desperation move. (2 Hours ago)
The company at the back of the pack has to work extra hard to try to push people to their console. (2 Hours ago)
@Sdarts: the only reason MS are doing those things is because of where they are. Its the same as sony last gen. (2 Hours ago)
Thanks for the chat and good night, everyone. (3 Hours ago)
Well, time to go hunt all those Riddler's trophies, destroy all the Riddler's shields (5 for 1 Ridler trophy) and solve all the Riddler's riddles in order to get the true ending and 100% B:AK. (3 Hours ago)
