The spell casting portion definitely has promise, but I think the story is running amuk...

lazy beyond belief. They've been going out of their way to streamline the series and remove the "rpg".. they've finally removed the effort of walking and exploring. Weldone.

You wanna make a shooter Peter Moleneux, fine. But don't do it with your already damaged Fable franchise.

I will be on the sidelines for this one, I highly doubt I will spend the money one this, Forth time is not the charm.

This isn't Fable 4 it's a spin off or possibly DLC add-on or something. You guys obviously "set to complain mode" before the conference even started! The controls look like they work great (whether it's on-rails is irrelevant, plus it could just be certain sections) and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished game.

Coming from someone who thinks the Fable franchise gets crapped on more than it deserves, this looks like shit IMO. I certainly hope they aren't putting a ton of time into this instead of getting the fable franchise back on the right path.

Lionhead needs to take a long look in the mirror.

About the game

What's up?
  • MikeManiac61
MikeManiac61 @alimokrane: I would say that the Soul series is "challenging" than hard. Like Grift said, difficulty modes can be poorly designed and give unfair advantages to the AI IMO. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX A lot of them do.. but sometimes difficulty modes are poorly designed too. But that's nothing new. People have been phoning in hard and easy modes for decades. (2 Hours ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane Why can't the AAA games have hard modes like those games, that's what's annoying... (2 Hours ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @GriftGFX: Nioh and Neir (not yet). They are on my list. I played Dark Souls 1, I played and that's hard for sure. But those games are very few.... we need more! (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Also there are plenty of non-FPS multiplayer games. But maybe if you're looking for a challenge you should be more open to stepping outside your comfort zone. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Have you played Nioh, Dark Souls 3, and Nier Automata? (2 Hours ago)
  • alimokrane
    alimokrane etc.... (2 Hours ago)
