E3: Fallout New Vegas trailer

Bethesda just sent us this new trailer of Fallout New Vegas. On a technical standpoint, the game engine is starting to show its age but let's hope Obsidian will manage to deliver a great storyline and some nice dialogues. Considering their previous titles, I think it is safe to assume they will.

Look like Fallout 3 with new location, it is good but not perfect
And Obsidian does not inspire confidence after Alpha Protocol

Alpha Protocol is a good game, when you don't stop at the way it looks, and some of its flaws. It's well-written, choices do matter for once in a game and in the end, it is rather addictive in spite of its last gen look.

That pretty much sums it up nicely. All the "RPG" parts of Alpha Protocol work great: dialogue, story, skills, upgrades etc. And it has some really nice ideas to boot, unfortunately the technical aspects of the game aren't up to par.

But If Fallout: New Vegas has the same combat/inventory etc. from F3 with a kick-ass story to back it up, im happy with that. Not expecting Obsidian to revolutionise the genre with this one, just make a good RPG game.

I loved Fallout 3 and I like sand so I can't see any reason for me not to like this.

Maybe will get GOTY edition later, but as someone mentioned above - it looks like nothing more than Fallout 3 DLC.

How often do sequels in the same generation get new engines and art styles.
