Page 1 2 >>Character model artists have pulled some great monsters out the bag... it's a crying shame that the human models just seem rather... a huge step back.
and yea i think this game looks really good and all but does anyone know the release date?
As long as they get the gameplay right and cut out the infamous SH backtracking and aimless wandering I'm quite hopeful.
Edit: just seen the human/spider hybrid thing with its head coming out of its ass. Good lord!
Too bad Team Silent dont develop this one. In my opinion Silent Hill 3 almost look better graphically, Im not kidding... lol

Nice although it does look a bit last gen but then again the famous "grainy" filter is obviously switched on. Still a definite must buy for me. Anyone else think the part at 3:00 where he cuts the painting just seemed really "real". I watched it 3 times, the sound of the knife and the way the painting fell open, dunno just seemed kinda cool lol maybe just me, i felt the same the first time i sliced through a tent in Splinter Cell! :D
and it looks damn fine. the original xbox would fry with this so don't start. It has nice lighting and stuff, decent textures. Maybe not really impressive, but it looks good, and is pleasing at least.
yes, very good, until you walk through and its totally rigid xD
and WTF is Pyramid Head doing here????
'Cause i remember PH to be a James psychic manifestation... ;)
anyway, day one purchase.
And I don't like how they've changed pyramid head, anyone who is familiar with the series especially 1&2 knows that the creepy and morbid like awkwardness and horror he used to bring seems no longer present. Unless there is something to replace this, along with many other great elements that made the original games, it's just going to be formulaic and cheesy.

I don't know if it's just me, or maybe it was due to the dance dance revolution or whatever the fuck was going on in the background distracting me -- but it really had 0 eerie or disturbing elements.

i mean, i love SH2, its my fave of the series by FAR. and i appreciate they want to bring back what made the series great by mimicing that game. but they've gone a step too far imo
Putting in thing from the movie(Nurses, PH, etc)only confirm to me, that there isn't the same "metaphoric stratification" that was in the first 2 games of the series.
...wich is lame.
Seeing as nothing is really known about the story of this game, I'd imagine they'd have tied it all in somehow.
