I'm pretty pumped about this. I'm unfortunately one of the potential superfans-that-never-was because of the focus switch (from single to multiplayer) after the first game. Hopefully 343 can show the new Team Ninja what they did wrong with Gaiden 3.

Graphics are great for an 8 years old hardware. I'm impressed.

That was the main of MS conference, everything else sucked big time and was a joke.

I think Tomb Raider stole the show. Halo 4 was ok. The graphic are nice but everything else look the same as the other Halo games.

This couldn't be any more different than previous Halo's and still be able to call it Halo. This just rocked the show and I always knew 343 would do a better Halo than Bungie ever has (besides the original Bungie team and Halo:CE). Easily my game of the year.

Looks brilliant. Gameplay looks more of the same but then, it wouldn't be the HALO I love otherwise. The new enemy looks great and the story so far sounds compelling. I hope 343 can pull it off... I think Bungie got a bit... confused with Reach. At least for MP.

there was gameplay change, it was only subtle but when your perfect you dont need to change much :)

multiplayer stat tracking
amazing story
theater mode
changed gameplay with each and every outing by bringing new ideas
made shooters possible on consoles
made devs and pubs realise that having a fantastic score makes the game 10x better
made sub hd exceptable (lol)
had a spin off that completly changed the formula (wars)

And has pretty much been the only stand out franchise for me in the past two generations, there have been others (ME,GoW, GeOW plus loads moer i cant be arsed to put)
But game by game, i have watched them get raped and murdered for the sake of selling the franchise to the masses

and this part to me is what defines halo what makes halo stand out and be so fantastic, it has not changed drasticly to "boost sales" its never had to and never will, because we love it for what it is, the only thing that holds it back, is hardware nothing else.

yes because before that they was such massive success on consoles..no wait that was pc, yes goldeneye was fantastic but the controls were arse.

Halo gave us a fluid and brilliant experience, hence since halo.. been shooter after shooter :( unfourtantly.
