It seems like we forgot to add the Halo Wars images released yesterday, so here they finally are.

I want to give a hint to dev's in general and state that, in addition to their dynamic shadow stuff, they should add a basic drop shadow.
I don't like ground tanks looking like they are floating 4 feet off the gound.

Gameplay still looks like it's the same as in the first Command & Conquer. Soldiers standing still, all right next to each other, shooting at a tank about 10 metres away. This is pathetic, have not even single one of the desingers gone through basic combat training?

Yeah, I know, this is how 90% of all real time strategy games work. It's ridiculous.

All along I've hoped for top-down Halo 3 with full AI and physics. Too bad.

ok the graphics are intense ,lighting a bit 2 light ,what i really noticed about the pictures was the lighting aswell, maybe the contrast is lighter so u can see stuff more clearly, and its fact that some of u are hardcore rpg guys who are biased against halo.

pros: so far i seen alot of units in some pictures , units actully using debis as cover , the one i liked alot was the with the humans being surrounded by the eliltes and there is alot of units, also i noticed that is unique about this game is that u have maps in caves and major big stuctures ,so maybe we have like a underground area that also lets you go to the surface area, but thats probly not going to happen.

i love rts games i got all the ones on xbox 360 and countless ones on pc . but there is alot of stratagy going on in this game .also another picture that caught my eye was the one with the building of the elite structure that looked like it has expansions on it. maybe there is only one building with expansions being built on it..so maybe this is how u get powers in the game ( like a command center) this game has alot of potential and i just got civ revoution and it was a big disappointment

i cant want to get 30 master cheifs and pwn some elites with them

Wow, what a lot of downers.

It looks too light? WTF!? Do you want every game to be so dark you can barely see anything, and with only browns and greys as the colours?

God, its just like with Halo 3 and people said it was "too colourful" *rollseyes*

Rendering is sharp (at least in these stills), effects looks nice. They keep a lot of the familiar Halo feel to them. And without playing it for quite an extended time, I don't think we can really judge how it plays.
