Strangely almost completely missing from Sony's press conference, Killzone 2 is still at E3 and this new and short trailer proves it nicely. Update: Added some images.
it seems they are able to make the 32 man mp look as good as the single player. I think this game is actually going to be awesome, I was a bit sceptical but it's looking really good, and a great way to start 09.

It's just unbelievable how great this game looks even in MP. The technical and artistic direction of this game is just stellar. The different Helghast and ISA classes look awesome.
Definitely Sony's flagship title. Guerilla has really outdone themselves here.

This game looks again, absolutely fantastic in motion, and the animation for the characters the way they used mo-cap, is just amazing.
The shooting is just holy damn!
Everything in terms of shooting and animation I disliked in the first Killzone seems to be improved, by tons of re-designs.
Anyways, I know COD4 is a title hard to beat, but Killzone 2 has as much intensity of cinematic warfare as COD4, and if they nail the shooting mechanic, this could easily be the next COD4 copy exclusive for PS3, which what Sony needs, and what I need.
I need a amazing PS3 FPS, and this could easily be it.
It got a few factors I love...FPS, war, cinematic warfare, sci-fi, scary enemies, amazing original score and the shooting seems to be great.
And many games seem to take a graphical hit when it goes from SP to MP, but this title seems to hold its SP visuals which is great.
I saw the live demo on IGN last night and the only thing that worried me was AI, the guy playing the demo stated he was playing on normal when asked by one of the IGN guys, and if thats the case then Normal is way to easy as enemies were just standing around waiting to be shot, but im hoping all this can be fixed before release, also anyword on coop through the campaign yet?
Looks great from what you can see in the trailer..ain't much, but looks great.
Would be awesome if this would sell more PS3s (I might even buy one if this get 10/10 ;P)..

The A.I. of Uncharted was terrible in the preview stages yet in the final game it is superb.
The game is 7 months away from release - I'm sure the A.I. will be fixed by then. They are currently heavily focussing on the A.I. anyway, so expect major improvements in a few months..

As much as I hoped this game would rock, it's sadly trying hard to crush my hopes. WTF is up with the Halo effect run?! I hate when characters look like they are swinging their legs and sliding around like Halo for example. I expected that after COD4 did it so well other developers would make characters appear to be grounded and there for real in their animation and level interaction, guess I was greatly mistaken.
This game needs help asap. Resistance 2 doesn't need as much help but in that department what gives for both of them? Even Epic's Gears 2 has it down, seriously. Granted Gears 1 was good in that aspect though.
only FPS im excited for this generation so far. the art style is amazing. yes its very grey, but war games are typically very brown. its what works. so cant really complain. if i did i'd be a hypocrit since i love cod4 too. the AI does need improving tho, but the dev did say they've made the game more accessible by having 4 difficulties. maybe its a case of easy is for those that dont play games at all (think cod4 on easy, almost impossible to die), normal for casuals, hard for regular folk (like hardcore in gears of war) and insane for the hardcore players. it would make sense.
from the 4:26 mark, there is a TRULY in depth multiplayer preview with info about "badges" and clan points, lots of video..it gave me a non-sexual erection.
