It looks tempting but I'm afraid it would be one of those 'short experience' games like Fracture and so on.
I agree that some textures look bad. Look at the picture number 9 on the ground and number 13 the background. But stuff like this happens.

This game looks awesome though, and I don't think you should be worried about this being like Fracture. Fracture was bad, where as this is being developed by people who know how to make a game well, and it's looking pretty insane. Maybe a bit much to handle for extended periods of time, but Fracture seems like a bad comparison.
I also thought that the bg in the picture was DoF but it's still a very bad looking one as there is no way you get something like that in a real camera. It doesn't look realistic and most importantly doesn't fit the whole image.
Well, Fracture was the first thing that popped into my mind when I wanted to compare this to something. Alternative american future, hi-tech armor, army, third-person view, etc.
Its sick for a wallpaper!!
When Mikami said he was creating a shooter I almost lost respect for the guy. Then I saw footage of this game and thank god it's no FPS. Thank god there's no cheesy multiplayer/co-op. It looks insanely fun, even.
The same thing happened with Bayonetta and I expected no less fron Mikami and Platinum games.
Simply the best around.
