E3: No Man's Sky presentation

Our intrepid camera guy Miguel is still getting used to our brand new camera, but it looks like it's coming along nicely as shown by this quite great looking video presentation of No Man's Sky filmed during Sony's press conference.

The scale of the game is amazing!

oh man this is quite a feat, esp for a small [very small] dev studio.

Lost interest in Elite Dangerous as doesn't have much if anything interesting such as story/campaigns for single player mode.

NMS has trading, combat, joining forces, freelance missions, pretty much how Elite D should of been, eat your eat heart out Braben! ;)

This just looks mindblowing. Going from planet to planet and galaxy to galaxy, can't fathom the scale and that each planet feels hand-crafted thanks to the dev's crazy algorithms.

Every time I see this game my excitement dwindles. This guy who leads the preview seems to get weirder by each video. The newest thing is that they final showed a gun and a beacon. Is it a race to the center of the universe? Is the game over once you get there? Starting to doubt this game. Still hopeful for now.

droezelke @GriftGFX: meta-studies are extremely important in science as it compares the results of many studies. 1 study is not reliable. Studies need to be repeatable before they are accepted as valid. (10 Hours ago)
