E3: Project CARS PS4 video

GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

This time, Project CARS was set up correctly so Miguel could go back there and get you some new footage of the game. He had a bit of a hard time controlling his car with a controller but he gave it his all. A 60 fps version of the video will follow shortly as we've been told the game is not frame locked and runs at around 50 fps.
Update: The 60 fps version of the video has been added.

doesn't look too bad just needs a bit more polish hear and there, the curbs look a bit flat but other than that it looks pretty good.

Looks like if you really want to get the best out of this then a wheel is defo needed.

The first cockpit view is too static and still looks twitchy because of it, but the last one with head movement and DOF looks a lot better.

As Xoar said this is a wheel game for sure, however i dont get why the steering wheel isnt connected to the wheels per se (in the video during helmet cam he turns left and right but the wheel doesnt move)

I desperately hope G27 support is given PS4wise when Project Cars and DriveClub are released. *fingers-crossed*

I hope they add a perspective from the cockpit with out the wheel. I would even take something like the new grid.

The handling seems like shit. So twitchy and car simply wants to spin at every corner. Gfx look great and 50fps so that is awesome though

This looks absolutely awful in terms of handling. It almost seems like they haven't even tested a PS4 controller properly before hooking it up at E3. This is bad publicity and a slap in the face to all the backers of the project.

I actually felt sick while watching this vid. I was really planning on getting an X1 or PS4 for this game. Not anymore. I will stick with my 360 and ps3, with Forza 4, GT6, Grid, etc...

Why even bother with a chase cam when you're not intending to give the simcade players reasonable controls ? Proposal to Slightly Mad Studios: Just make it "Racewheel required" to further 'broaden' your audience. Console players won't be waiting for you and your chase cam controls to finish, they're just going to pick up that other race game from the competition, you'll see.

further to this I downloade PCars for PC (i bought into the beta a year ago) and used a PS4 controller (you can find the hack on le web): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWBR4EQqmh8&list=U... (skip to about 1.20 for internal view)

I honestly dont think its bad - it could do with tweaking as I havent even adjusted any of the settings nor calibrated the controller, but potential is there.

With my g27 wheel though its AMAZING.
