Coming on very nicely.
So long as they sort the framerate out?
A must for me.

Yeah the framerate looks horrendous!

I read on gamespot, they almost have it locked at 30fps.

looks quite nice.

A recent video i saw put me off the game a lot because of the horrible framerate, but these pics have brought back my interest.

The fat guy with the bazooka is funny :)

Character creation looks insane, did they mention anything about being able to customise members of your gang aswell?

This was a must have until I saw crackdown which gameplay wise looks like it rocks the socks off this game but I totally need to see more of both.

This game is almost as good as GTA as ive heard, some say its better, but it needs help with framerate, and it need auto aim.

30 FPS isn't that good for "next gen".

But the graphics in Saint's Row are, and some developers will always choose graphics quality over framerate. There's probably gonna be 30 fps next-nextgen too, and probably the one after that. Our eyes will never change, and the majority seems to be fine with it. At least in the most genres.

yeah to be honest i have never noticed framerat problems in all my life of gaming, no tnew titles nor old ones, if you don't think about it you don't see it

If you ever play a game competitively, you'll notice the advantage 60+ FPS has over 30 FPS.

Isnt this game coming out 2007, because i read it some where. Maybe it was a typo cause it said coming next fall.

Thats true. When I played call of duty 2 then switched over to Halo2. I noticed a big difference in framrates. It seemed as if halo2 was moving slow. But 30 fps is good for this type of game, if it was a fps then they should try their hardest to increase fram rate, but this is no fps.

Am i alone in thinking the textures are outright lazy???

There is no............texture to them, its one bland colour, people arent white or black or brown all over, they are all different shades.

This looks way better than the last gamplay vids from E3 I have seen recently.
what's up with that?

It doesn't but the character creation feature is very comprehensive, almost on par with Oblivion.

It is on par with Oblivion but I would say better.
