This apparently runs on Frostbite 2 engine?

It's an EA game thus bullshots ahoy.

Just seen gameplay from E3 and it's very close, graphically it is amazing!

Another wrong turn for the Need for Speed franchise. I don't want foot-chases and quicktime-o-ramas in my street racer. Just give me car customization, hot races (on the street!) and the ability to thumb my nose at my friends who didn't make as cool a car as me.

Not normally a fan of NFS but I actually quite like the look of this. I would have preferred the on foot segments to have been played rather than QT events but still thinking this is a nice fresh take on the racing genre.

uggh, looks pretty terribly imo. The racing/escaping in a car looked average, nothing special, but then I am forced to watch the game play out these long on foot movies where I push a button on command every 30 seconds?

My god, gaming is supposed to be becoming MORE interactive. Why are so many games trying to emulate dragons lair lately? I know it is easier than making actual gameplay, but it just looks lazy and makes me totally uninterested in ever playing it. Make the on foot sections interactive, or leave them out altogether, don't half ass it!

So Im not alone ....yuppi ! Personally I think new NFS looks terrible, boring and stupid and the running sequences are just annoying.

Need for speed meets heavy rain. Not interested yet.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Yup. Oh and I can't forget to mention how dark it is, and that story, real nice. The dynamic between Jackman and Stewart was superb too. (4 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Wolverine in the comics was always bloody, savage and ruthless. Something the previous movies never did, probably to stay PG-13 - suitable for teens. (4 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @digi_matrix: Looking very forward to it. But no spoilers please. Now I know I will most likely cry at the end. (Which is never a bad thing.) (4 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @droezelke: No problem, in games like Edith Finch what's most important is story, characters and world settings. It's like movies or a very short TV show/mini series, gameplay isn't as important. (4 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Oh and I loved the violence, yep. I never liked how there was barely any blood in the previous films, impossible when you have someone like Wolverine cleaning house. This is how it's done. (5 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker And I'm so glad I watched the previous X-men movies first, specifically the two Wolverine movies, otherwise some things wouldn't have made sense (5 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Logan was absolutely fantastic. In terms of acting, emotion, character development it's in a different league than the other X-men movies. Fucking loved it. And man, Jackman is a boss! (5 Hours ago)
