Bastion was great. This looks interesting as well.

Lovely art style. Hopefully it won't have the annoying narration that Bastion was saddled with.

Sony's indie game showing was pretty strong, certainly better than Microsoft's. (although I did like the new Superbrothers game they showed)

Funny, the narration is the part that actually drew people to the game and made them talk about it, otherwise it would've gone largely unnoticed (sadly).

The narration wasn't "tacked on", it's integral to the experience. This one has a narrator, too, but different. There's a full gameplay vid out there somewhere (from PAX, I think). It's far better than the trailer, which doesn't really explain the game.

Whoever declares this to be "just another hipster game" is just so ridiculously 'individualist' that he is just another hipster himself. Don't want to play a good game? Well, die searching for individualism then... (or make your own game and STFU)

GriftGFX I definitely don't fault people who can't afford to comply. And the situation sucks for them. That doesn't really draw any final conclusions about GDPR one way or the other. (1 Hour ago)

GriftGFX is handled in general. And that data doesn't need to be sold or even contain very personal information. We're talking about user profiles and game stats and shit. (1 Hour ago)

GriftGFX @nostradamus: People in that situation are just shutting down (like SteamSpy). But even if the core business isn't the handling of that data, we're talking about how user data generated by games (1 Hour ago)

nostradamus well, if their core buisness is handling of that information, then what to do? I do recon the directives are a bit insane on the IT side of things (no DB on biodata, deletion of user (1 Hour ago)

GriftGFX Cool. I'll keep calling people who lose their jobs because of the costs associated with compliance collateral damage. (1 Hour ago)
