Rare put online these 3 incredibly beautiful videos of Viva Pinata, showing a few game environments and their pinatas. This game is so different and interesting looking!
This will be the first true virtual world for a Pokemon type game. I can see why Microsoft are confident in its success. It's so different that it can claim its own genre. There will be other games to follow in its footsteps for sure.
Heh, a Pinata farm simulator =P The animations are great, friendly music, stellar graphics technology (lighting and shadowing seems great, and water effects are pretty; general quality is very high), and mad art direction. Mad as in crazy and as in impressive.
I am not sure what to make of the gameplay yet. It seems to share bits and pieces in common with animal crossing, pokemon, Space Station Silicon Valley, and sim earth. Since it is "G" rated and a kids game I would expect it to be easy to play.
This game with the right push forward along with that Tv Show should kick some ass!
It will nice to see it going as well as the pokemons! Who knows...maybe this is the game that will make japanese gamers fall in love with 360

It won't sell in Japan. Guaranteed.
That could be true because it is an english game with englisch humour.
But you still have to think about the sucess of Anima Crossing and Pokemon in Japan, any maybee, just maybee, they will like Viva Pinata, too.

As close to Nintendo as you'll get on the 360.
Its just a title I see doing REALLY well over in japan.
Gosh... I just NEED to play this game

But the gfx is bretty nice! Would be great if the "skin" would move though, but still nice.

I think it rocks.
Well it does look kinda fun and Harvest Moonish. Id be worried about game length though. If its as short as Kameo Id be disappointed.
