This will be the first true virtual world for a Pokemon type game. I can see why Microsoft are confident in its success. It's so different that it can claim its own genre. There will be other games to follow in its footsteps for sure.

I'm so hyped for this game, I don't care if anyone thinks its kiddie.

Heh, a Pinata farm simulator =P The animations are great, friendly music, stellar graphics technology (lighting and shadowing seems great, and water effects are pretty; general quality is very high), and mad art direction. Mad as in crazy and as in impressive.

I am not sure what to make of the gameplay yet. It seems to share bits and pieces in common with animal crossing, pokemon, Space Station Silicon Valley, and sim earth. Since it is "G" rated and a kids game I would expect it to be easy to play.

This game is seriusly going to rock :) I am looking forward to this game the most on the 360, oddly enough.

My feel good GOTY.
As close to Nintendo as you'll get on the 360.

Call me crazy, but I think this game could very well change things for the 360 in japan.

Its just a title I see doing REALLY well over in japan.

It will nice to see it going as well as the pokemons! Who knows...maybe this is the game that will make japanese gamers fall in love with 360

This looks like better being played stoned!
But the gfx is bretty nice! Would be great if the "skin" would move though, but still nice.

I think this could be a real killer app for the holidays especially once the show comes and awareness rases like hotcakes

That could be true because it is an english game with englisch humour.
But you still have to think about the sucess of Anima Crossing and Pokemon in Japan, any maybee, just maybee, they will like Viva Pinata, too.

I think it rocks.

This game looks so weird. I wonder how the gameplay is? Could be really fun or really boring I think.

Well it does look kinda fun and Harvest Moonish. Id be worried about game length though. If its as short as Kameo Id be disappointed.

KORNdog @jmd749: between the specs and saying it's a few years away still i think it's safe to say it's a next gen console title. (1 Hour ago)
  • jmd749
jmd749 @KORNdog: that's a pretty high end PC rig for Cyberpunk. I really hope they don't dumb the AI down as a result of consoles weak ass CPUs. good AI is essential in a title like this. (1 Hour ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @KORNdog: they needed the publicity and also needed to make a good first impression in terms of the visuals. they are really good devs but I can;t help but think they have always been a bit dodgy (2 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @droezelke: which is probably why they don't want to show it. although it is weird that the xbox trailer is already downgraded compared to the main release of the trailer. (4 Hours ago)

droezelke @KORNdog: I other words: won't even look close to it on consoles :-) (4 Hours ago)
