Elveon trailer

Elveon trailer

Elveon, developed by the Slovakia based 10tacle team is back after a rather long wait. This new trailer presents the fighting system, and it doesn't look bad at all. The game will be presented in 2 weeks at the Game Convention in Leipzig.

I like what I see, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for this one.

Looks very nice indeed.

Terrible voice acting though, forced delivery kills the atmosphere.

Very nice combat.

i think part of the forcefulness comes from trying to suppress the accent and enunciating. i'm guessing they just pulled someone from the office and threw him into a small studio and recorded it :)

hope the rest of the game is this detailed.

I see they went for a very realistic combat system which is a refreshing change. will be keeping an eye on this one. looks good! nice to see more and more NON-FPS games on the 360.

I definetly like the Fighting System, Horray for non gun based fighting!

Lets just hope it doesnt turn into a Hack n Slash :(

Very nice indeed!

Really like the guard breaking moves.

Why does it say "tech demo" at the top if it's a trailer?

This game will be nice. The weapons actually hit the person.

This game really looks great. The voice-acting is godawful and kind of ruins the experience...but the fight system looks nice, and I look forward to studying some different martial arts, sword arts, etc.

The characters look pretty cool, but I want to see the kind of creativity that goes into a game like Oblivion in this - not quasi-Elder Scrolls stuff.

Nice looking game. The combat seems solid and believeable without being too slow. Not finished yet though!

The screenshots made this look like a cheap Oblivion knock off, but this trailer was really promising. The combat seems great, especially the animation. I can't wait to see what they show at the Leipzig convention.

Wow, this is beautiful. It is in-engine, and fighting is in-game. You can tell this guys (devs) are from central-east Europe, as they have this great fidelity and sense for medieval details. If that is how the game will look, than i shall buy it, no question asked.

Yes, that looks interesting, very nice.

Hope there some cool and massive enviroments in this game...

Looks great and has a solid set of tactics and pre-determined moves.

BUT, I would so want to see a Die By the Sword fighting mechanism. The dual-thumbstick pad is just crying for that kind of realism and control. But alas, no developer is up to the challenge and treyarch is - while making some great games - now just a non innovative, low-risk developer.

Btw I have a friend who's a Slovak! It's good 10tacle presents themselves as slovaks instead of czech.

I like the combat alot. The voice acting was trash. Hopefully it was just place holder.

Wow I'd buy this game just for that combat... even this game has better combat than too human =P

I understand they'll likely improve on it greatly, but a little criticism never hurt I'm sure it has them further determined to proving all the naysayers wrong after E3.

I heard that at E3 this game had a weak showing. From this video it looks like it improved, a lot.

can hardly wait to see the first cities and dungeons . ... I really like the art-direction so far

Me like! But I'm still waiting for the combat system I dreamed of for so many years. Hoped this would be it, but I doubt it.
I still want a super precise weapon-to-flesh collision detection system, where one strike to the throat or to other deadly areas will end the fight right away.
That would be true Next-gen for me. Tired of games where a shot/blow to the foot kills you because you are low on health..

Was that 'Real-time Weapon change'? I will keep an eye out for this one, but I have low expectations...

  • rayy
rayy But for games like OW is not an issue. Funny thing is most people who complain about OW having lootboxes dont even own a copy of OW or play the game. Don't even play MP games in general. (5 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy Nobody is saying to not condemned EA for what they did. Yeah they did really bad, and they should get punish by it. They are getting punish by the market already. (5 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy Cosmetic lootboxes on overwatch doesnt affect the gameplay at all, and if you play the game enough you get those stuff for free anyways. You really dont have to grind that much tbh. (5 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy Say welcome to seasson passes, split comunity, having to pay more than $60 for the game to get all the maps or heroes I want, so yeah I will take lootboxes on Overwatch over having to buy a season pas (5 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy If you remove lootboxes for cosmetic stuff that doesn't affect gameplay at all on Overwatch, them forget about getting free maps, free new heroes, free content in general. (5 Hours ago)
