waterfall valley looks amazing

The lobby looks half as much fun as the actual fighting.. Glad to see that the avatars are customisable.

I'm actually a little more excited about the prospect of being able to run around in a circle as a magic tree. It looks to add so much to the experience that I might just give up my turn to play just to walk around in the lobby a little more. I'm really glad Team Ninja felt it necessary to spend time working on this really great lobby system, you know, since the old lobby system was completely non-functional. I'm looking forward to spending my money to download new lobby themes from Xbox Live and quite frankly, I couldn't see how anyone wouldn't be eager to do the same.

I say, as a designer I love seeing Japanese mag scans. Not to stereotype (it's a good stereotype) but they have a great design sense when it comes to things like editorial.

No sense in arguing over DOA anymore, either people are going to like it or no--this game isn't going to be the one that changes peoples minds about the franchise.

I for one can not wait to see DOAX2 (because yes, this is what I like about the DOA franchise) and Ninja Gaiden 2 (because yes, NG rocks :))

I wonder how many Japanese gamers would actually care about the Pillar of Autumn and the Halo character? Will this make them play Halo or FPS more??? (Yes I know it is designed for Halo fans, but still, DOA is a "highly" anticipated Xbox 360 game in JAPAN). Too bad I'll have to wait til next year to get my 360.

This game is graphically INCREDIBLE and it will easily be the best looking game on the system when it comes out. I hope it plays as good as it looks. The waterfall and the safari stages are my favorite.

I wouldn't call it the best looking game on 360, its far from that.. but it looks fun and colorful, Halo character is stupid though.

I'm sure its easily going to be the best looking, find a game thats better accompanied by some good gameplay

vf5 doesnt look that impressive but its still a bit better looking than doa4

I'll say what many others have said before, VF5 features very small stages so they have room to improve the graphics while DOA4 features huge multi-tiered stages. Another example: Chronicles of Riddick features some very impressive graphics but does not feature huge open environments with multiple characters on it ala COD2.

DOA4 is great. DOA3 was too. Could do with some more chars. though. How many playable chars in doa4 now? Oh and where is the '' Dead' in dead or alive? I would'nt mind the series to become a bit more violent ;-)

The enviorments are great, but the characters look pretty much the same as DOA 3...just better lighting and mapping.

'TECMO once again has moved the Release Date for Dead or Alive 4 from 17.12.2005 to 29.12.2005 in Japan due to workout the Online-Functions' Over and Out, cheers ;)

Hey you know if they hadn't spend time with the Spartan character and Halo stage, it wouldn't be delayed

News Flash, different people work on different stuff in a game. DOA4 is delayed because of some online issues, not because the artists are late.
