Many years ago, Operation Flashpoint was released on PC and took the world by storm. Years later and millions of copies sold, the super-realistic shooter now lands on Xbox in around two weeks. That much media haven't been released for this game, but now Bohemia Interactive gives you this 10 minute ingame-video, exclusively available here on Xboxyde. Except that the Xbox-version contains the expansion Resistance, Bohemia also upgraded most of the stuff in the game. We'll in this video see a whole mission, and you'll be amazed by the fantastic draw distance and the wonderful sounds. If you want realism, you've come to the right place. Placebo, other company's should take your example, this is some good pr for your company and especially for the game, i hope it plays as nice as it looks cause damn this is probably the last xbox game i'm gonna get before it's 360 time :D

one question, on the pc version i had to take the gamma levels all the way up for the colors to shine throu, seems to be the same with the xbox version. Waht i meen is that the colors look bland and pail, or is this just the vid?

Yeah the colours in the vid aren't accurate as to how they are ingame because of the means for capturing the video, in screenshots we've released the colours are 100% as they are ingame because they're captured directly from the Xbox with no 3rd party hardware/software, below are some of the screenshots we released last week with the gone gold press release........

do u's have any plans to dev for the 360 or any other next gen,i mean if u can push the xbox this hard i'd love to see what u's could do with all the power of next gen.
one more: what about the framerate? i guess its smooth, but sence the little box gets pushed so far towards its limits, i think its only natural to ask.

There isn't a widescreen mode, sorry.
We hope it's backwards compatible as well, we don't anticipate it not being, but nobody will know for sure until it's tried on a 360 :)

There are no current plans beyond our announced next 2 PC titles, but we don't rule anything out, 360 is definitely looking like a nice system ;)

Yep framerate is smooth, when you consider what's going on around you and the size of the islands I think you'll see it's a surprising accomplishment ;)

I haven't played the PC game in a while, but I'll play this a lot on Xbox hopefully.
I wonder how the managed to fit the PC controls unto the Xbox controller.
