Another case of a game looking far better in motion than it does in screens. Im not sure about the direction theyre taking the game though, F2 was an ok game, it was rather limited and the RPG elements were weak. That was really my biggest gripe, the game was shallow in everything it tried, it had a diverse range of things but they were all dead ends that could be reached very quickly.

When i hear them mention things like making the game more accessable i cringe, physically buckle over in pain, if anything they need to make it less accessable, make it MORE of an rpg, add some depth to things. If they market the thing as a straight up adventure game i wouldnt complain, but then they wouldnt see a penny from me either as thats not the game i had became a fan of in the first instance.

can't say i'm too excited. Removing the RPG elements of Fable1 and 2 you're left with a pretty adverage adventure game.. it's never exactly had zelda's puzzles, mass effects tactical combat, fallout's desire to talk to everyone you pass. The online of Too human (was actually good)
Sure it's been innovative for an rpg... allowing your progress and choices to effect your appearence (recently adopted in ME2), buying/letting houses and stores. Having babies! Having STD's..., and most importantly being able to fart.

I guess we'll have to see how far and unique it can go with the effects on your characters appearence, and weapons. I don't think the whole emotion touch thing will work though. They compare it to ico..taking the hand of a loved one, reassuring them, leading them. But with ico it was the same 2 characters throughout..allowing a relationship to build that you cared about.

I loved Fable 1, couldn't get into Fable 2.

But, this game looks pretty interesting. The levels looks a damn sight more interesting than Fable 2, both in terms of scale and beauty. But, I've seen too little of the game to be certain. I'm definitely interested, just hope it won't be the dissapointment Fable 2 was to me.

    GriftGFX Yea I can see them being more problematic on consoles.. it doesn't require much precision to run someone down with the saber either. (10 minutes ago)

    droezelke @GriftGFX: Yes, a little bit OP though. If one charges at you with a horse, you're f'ed unless you can pull off a headshot. Especially on consoles they are hard to hit because of the 'controller' (1 Hour ago)
