Microsoft and Lionhead are bringing Fable Anniversary later this year on Xbox 360. Almost nine years after the original release, the studio has remastered the 2004 Xbox game which features new interface, SmartGlass support, achievements and better graphics.

I hope they're not counting this as one of the 12/15? exclusive games.. did they say if the exclusive games would be specifically for xboxone or not? I cant remember.
I've just watched the trailer for Spartan assult. Maybe a new (working) Kinect driven Halo wars could be pretty decent. Although for the love of god i'd much prefer a Black and White 2 from lionhead.. surely a god game would work perfectly for kinect
Good gfx improvement as well. I think 360 is already compatible with xbox games so I think there was no point to do HD remake before. May be they are making new Fable game so want to release it to generate interest as the series is fading now.
Though i have to say, it looks like more than just a quick cashgrab. I mean, they have redone the graphics and everything, so there's at least that. Though i suspect a lot of it is recycled assets form 2 and 3.
Second its Lionhead who does a quick cash-in not MS.
Third its not surprising that Lionhead is doing it because they haven't made decent game for a couple of years.
they're remaking it since it's the only good game they made since going on consoles
But other than that, they're going to have to show more to get me interested. I played the PC version a few years back, and the Xbox version(s) work on 360.

It's just a clusterfuck of unfinished, halfassed ideas. That said, the first game was by far the most competent of them all, but it still wasn't a very good game by any stretch of the imagination. You can pretty much pick up any Zelda title from A Link To The Past and onward to get a MUCH better experience in every single way.

The only high points were the good versus evil and the story, and even those felt half assed compared to KOTOR. Honestly, people rip on Skyrim for a lot of the useless additions, but at leased I can get immersed enough in the game to make myself interested in everything. Fable just never hooked me.
