Far Cry New Dawn was released this week and we actually reviewed it in French if you're fluent enough in our language to understand it. Because we wouldn't want you to feel left out, we have recorded a couple of gameplay videos of the game in 4K. To see what the PC version looks like with ultra graphics and in very high definition, you just have to follow us inside. As you'll see, the colorful art style makes this new episode quite appealing visually, though it's a shame there are no real urban areas as it sometimes doesn't feel like you're in a post-apocalyptic world. If it were not for the colors and a bunch of details, it could very well pass for some American countryside landscape, and sadly the weapons lack any originality (aside from one maybe), which further contributes to this impression.
This is the closes (setting) i've seen to my old fav. Irem's Ninja Spirit that i've seen. Feudal japan mixed with From's superb bosses also makes me think about Madhouse's Ninja Scroll. (1 Hour ago)
only played the first area (after the prologue), and it's more openworld-ish than the other From games. very vertical , and wider play area. (1 Hour ago)
@asdfg: The first miniboss felt like something they put in there to tell soulspeople that "don't play it like it's souls". i got whooped seriously when i tried to dodge the guy,. (1 Hour ago)
@nostradamus: yeah they can be a real pain. Finally starting to get the hang of the parrying. Are you liking it so far nos? (3 Hours ago)
