I like the style of this game, that's for sure. Reminds me a WHOLE lot of Quantum Redshift on the Xbox, which is definitely a damned good thing. It does, however, look decidedly similar to Quantum Redshift in the graphics category, as the art style is rather bland as best. Let's hope the gameplay makes up for this.

Hopefully they'll spice this up with final dev kits before release.

Although the environments do have a fresh feel about them.
Let's hope the physics and gameplay makes up for it.

Sony already has final Dev kits out. Nice to have physics but I dont see the point, so far from the pics. I really dont see the physics being used except for one picture. Dont really see the point. At least they could have destructable environments. That why I loved the 1st red faction so much.

The game is at least supposed to have destructable enviroments. I'm guessing that's why the enviroments look like they do (especially the cliffs). Don't know how great the physics are in that department, but I'm hoping as good as possible.

dude you just contradicted yourself. If it's gonna have destructible environments, parts falling form it should have good physics along with the ships so when for example a part of the cliff hits the ship, the ship and the rock should react realistically or if they are going for an arcade feel, in a fun and smooth way.

And I know Sony already has final kits out (infact they had it out ages ago) but some devs didn't have the chance to 'spice up' their game.
Look at Motorstorm- It looks better with every new bunch of screens being released as they keep on 'spicing it up' until release.

That's what I'm hoping this game will do and with the Worldwide Developer community Sony has created for the PS3, I hope the makers of Motorstorm will show few tips to these guys :p
