This week will see the usual release of the two football/soccer games of the industry. We will start with some gameplay footage of FIFA 12, which features an impressive new physics engine - which can sometimes cause pretty funny things. The players' animations are also superbly rendered and with the number of ways you can score a goal, the game offers a lot of variety. I'm sure you've made up your mind with the demo, but if you're still hesitating, make sure to check out our videos.

Great vids. Some nice goals as well.

Did love the last minute of extra time in that Spain vs. Netherlands video, just like real life!

I changed to Fifa back in 08 but this year i preferred the PES demo. The Fifa demo just felt a bit stale to me and played too much like Fifa 11 with poor AI.

It played too much like Fifa 11? Mate, this plays absolutely nothing like Fifa 11 did. Where you get that from is beyond me.

The AI is still very poor, Still far too many 1 v 1's and still far too much skating. It's certainly better than Fifa 11 but only just. As i say time for a change.

I've been playing the early release since Saturday, it's an absolutely superb game, best Fifa to date IMO, much better than the demo, weightier, players respond better and once you get used to the defending it's very easy to see the difference in how teams play, I only play single player and thankfully the new CM is absolutely brilliant, they did a great job, sliders are a welcome addition as well :)

Clearly Xoar is mad. This FIFA is a lot better than previous editions and has the edge over PES 12 which is..let's face it just utter crap. Animations are terrible, the movement of players suck,..

I could see that some people would prefer like PES over FIFA 10 or hell even 11 but this year? One clear winner and that is FIFA. Even with the bugs.
