for some reason I find the characters faces to look slightly more comical than lifelike

Also the crowd and ring sides great too.. with everybody reacting spot on to the action, and lots of nice little details in there.
Thankfully they've also worked harder on the commentary...although they have that guy with the scar down his face who's completely void of all personality..terry atlace?
Really looking forward to this hitting.. could of done with more brittish boxers in there..considering we've been holding alot of the titles the past few years.. they've only just got round to putting Calzaghe in ffs who held his super middle-weight belt for what 10years?
didn't liked the demo at all, but I guess its a must-have for boxing-fans...
I find the gameplay too slow and chunky.

Says the gameplay is far more deep due to the speed and style factor.
Shame.
After I had been playing the demo for quite some time I went back to play FN3 because imho it's more realistic than FNR4 even with more 'robotic' animations.
But at the moment I'm almost only playing UFC undisputed which has a more strategical aspect to it than both FNRs. Garphicswise it's way behind FNR4 but for me it looks more life-like than the comic faces of FNR4....
(It's like the graphical supreme 'soccermonster' versus the better looking PES models)
Dissapointed.
Graphics look vgood and phyiscs are alot better then fnr3.
But in these pics, the characters look more like charactcatures even.
The demo i played of hatton etc, didn't look as extreme as these.
Shame though that it's boxing, a genre that I find gets dull quickly, and that the controls, which rely predominantly on the right analogue stick, are so hard to use. No more were the controller issues apparent than in the tutorial where, despite being shown exactly what I had to do, I still couldn't get the moves right. Like Round 3, the use of the right analogue stick for the moves feels unnatural and I much prefer to use the shoulder and face buttons to be honest.
I was unlucky enough to play prizefighter the other day..which basically stars him. Looks nothing like him, and is so slow and unresponsive. Man that was a bad game
Yeah the demo didn't impress me either. Sure the technical things sound amazing but 60fps or the animations are too smooth for my taste.

My only beef is that haymakers seem a lot less intuitive to pull off. It made sense in FNR3 to kind of wind back and throw it forward hard with the analog stick. Now, the RB modifier just doesn't seem as good.
