Electronic Arts released this trailer of Fight Night Round 4 showcasing how important the style of the fighter can be. Update: HD Version, running at 60 fps (wmv only), is up.
This game looks amazing... but the models are a bit TOO shiny for my taste. Another case of abusing a good thing. The fighters stand out way too much and that detracts from the realism the game's trying to create.
Game's looking really good IMO, but the character models, oh dear, Hatton looks like some kind of incredible hulk, he's nowhere near that bulky in real life, Pacquiao neither, they've used some generic body shape for all and it's way off.
Some of you people are smacked off your tree or something. Fuck being pedantic with this. Appreciate it for what it is, and what it is is one seriously stunning looking videogame. The muscle contortion, lighting, facial distortion when taking punches, animations, it's all there. It looks almost CG. Amazing. Stop your bitching. The boxers' likeness does the job. I recognized every one of them. They are not way off.

the game does look stunning, you're right, but the likenesses are just plain messed up. it's not a huge issue, but considering all those elements you listed ARE of such high quality, you'd expect the likenesses to be spot on. hell, round 3 had better likenesses then this...which is just plain weird.
