The game looks good but the cast is dreadful…

Running animation is a bit strange, I'd prefer ingame cutscenes instead of prerendered stuff cause the ingame scenes look pretty weak compared to the CGI sequences. But other than that I'm pretty amazed.

Best looking hair in-game ever. Looks fantastic. Other developers have some to learn here about small but important details. Love the character models overall, very well done. Environments looks polished too.

I just wish they would notice some of the big details, Lol! Like animation transitons and making the movement and camera more natural :P...

You are joking right? It's a huge step backwards in hair animation. Not to mention it's really bad looking. But i think the poor animation makes total sense as japanese kids use loads of hair lotion these days, man why not use glue instead? It's cheaper and their are ruining their hair anyway...

wow the in game animation and collision detections looks awful. Looks like they concentrated on making sure it was running at 30 FPS with 4XAA. Other than that, it looks like Final Fantasy X, I enjoyed FFX back in 2003 or 2002 but I dunno about this

You are blind sir, the hair look amazing. And must you guys make comments about japan in every japanese games topic? You Americans are so close-minded and always think your culture is flawless.

The hair looks fine but really who gives a crap anyway, why focus on such a small detail?
The way this is being played makes the running/turning animation look much worse than it is. The person playing is exclusively using the left stick to turn, if you use the right stick to turn the camera as well the turning is smooth. Those who have the demo can try it out for themselves.

About the game

What's up?
  • Sdarts
Sdarts DICE helped them a lot with the Frostbite 3 engine and they were able to push the visuals beyond BF4 in some aspects, like the water effects. And it really shows. Too much excited to wait till Nov 18. (0 minute ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts The camera automatically zooms out when entering combat and zooms in after, but you can change the FOV with the mouse wheel. The visuals look amazing on PC, much more than on PS4 and XBO. (1 Hour ago)

Sdarts @Moonwalker: To access the archived livestream videos, click on BioWare and then on Past Transmissions. Today they showed a new region and a new story quest (but very early, so almost no spoilers). (1 Hour ago)
  • Sath
Sath Main Theme from Lords of the Fallen [url] sounds great to me, kind of getting that Witcher style vibe. (3 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker I watched the X1 stream again, parts of it, i really hope so much that on console we can zoom on the character and lock it too, it totally kills immersion when camera is so far away. (3 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: I can only find the Dragon Age keep stream. (4 Hours ago)
  • b0vril
b0vril I got back into Alien today. Kind of finding I can only play it short bursts now. But it's still great. (5 Hours ago)
