First images of Kane & Lynch 2

First images of Kane & Lynch 2

The very first images of Kane & Lynch: Dog Days have just been released and here they are for your eyes only. This time around, Lynch will be the main protagonist but the coop mode will allow a friend of yours to play as Kane, online and offline. The game is planned for release this year on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

I hope it looks better in motion.

So far i'm not very looking forward for this game, like i was at the first game.

I really want a new Hitman.

i'm kinda looking forward to this. if they fix the clunky shooting mechanics hen i think they're onto a winner. the first game had a great, mature story, but was ultimately let down by shoddy controls.

kane looks REALLY haggard in this one. almost to a point of being unrcognisable.

I want to see that "viral"- look in motion. In Giantbomb's preview they said that bright lights will cause the image to streak and explosions will cause it to pixelate.

Really looking forward to this. Loved the first one despite it's problems and had more fun with it in co-op than i did with Army of Two and Resi 5.

somehow this game always reminds me of the robert de-niro movies.

about the game... it looks like crap, hope it's just the screens.

cannot wait to play this, loved the story in first one, and hope they go for there own graphic feel/look, to many crappy games now days are all visuals and shitty gameplay/story....

It looks kinda lower rez. Other than that, I think it looks quite good. I'm diggin the style and the post-processing effects...

Looking awesome. I saw a short trailer showing of the new look of the game which looked pretty cool. I hope it's not too gimmicky

Don't know what to think of the graphics. I liked the first game because of the Heat-vibe (I mean the movie). But these graphics look worse than the first game. And what is that terrible grain-filter? Is it supposed to mask the bad graphics?

Gonna have to see this in motion to make a judgement.

This is still IO developing, isn't it?

Didn't like the first one because of the gameplay and characters ugly looking old men with crap in their pants and already the same with this one.

That is some of the worst doctored screens I've seen in a long time. What's in there that's not doctored do look better and more detailed than the first game - but that really doesn't say much.

And as a follow up to one of the worst games in the last decade, this game seriously need to up the ante ALOT.

I absolutely LOVE the style they go for with these games. The trailers have always had me REALLY excited for a grungy, neo pulp-noir kind of game. I hope for this game they bring A. unique and interesting mechanics and B. fun.

This time F the graphics. I need a dark and serious game with some psycho characters. Hope they tune and fix up gamplay. I now it s a different game but it remainds me the guilty pleasure that Manhunt brought. Maybe its the filter

I enjoyed first Kane & Lynch even though most people didn't. I'm keeping my eye on this one.

You've gotta be kidding me. Worst games? How so? The only thing a bit off was the shooting and not having the best graphics, which I never really had a problem with.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (11 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (11 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (11 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (11 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (11 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @HR2: Ubisoft uses their own engines. They have like.. three solid in house game engines. (11 Hours ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @Melmoth: agreed. speaking of Ubisoft, I wonder which engine they're using for the next Splinter Cell. a heavily modified UE3 like Batman AK or UE4? (11 Hours ago)
