First images of Kung Fu Panda

Dreamworks and some of the guys behind Madagascar and the Shrek series are this summer bringing Kung Fu Panda to the cinemas, and Activision will take care of the game. The movie features voices from Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan and Seth Rogen plus many others, so hopefully they'll be all featured in the game. With a release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 2, PC and the DS, the game is planned to hit the stores in May. More information and first images inside.

If them shots are truly in game, then I am impressed. Great lighting and great fur shading on the Panda. If they could just nail down the FSAA, the game would look almost as good as the movie.

I wonder if they'll actually use Jackie Chan's voiceovers for this.

What you talking about ... Yea the idea is crap, the movie looks terrible, but if this is in game its some of the best graphics I have seen so far this gen.

well... I can see some nice effects, like the water effects and nice fur shading. Lighting is nice too but It´s not a game that I would buy... In general, textures are just correct I think.

Wait.....what?....this looks fucking awful in every conceivable way, are you guys just trolling or are you blind?

Edit : I guess the panda looks ok but everything else looks crappy.

The panda seems like he jumped right out of a pixar movie. I think that is what Jollipop is seeing, and yes it does look good.

And you base this on what? From your response I suspect you're a minor, so who are you calling "littleman"? Come back to me when you learn how to debate...

What? Graphics praise for this? WTF.?!?!?! This game looks average......damn. The only thing worth talking about is the Panda/main characters, everything else looks average to bad.

Ewwww... Other then the panda the visuals suck >.< look at those textures!! ahhh!

you would thin that these amazing CG movies would actually produce decent looking games...

but nope, never!

never say never.

the problem with most movie-based games is still that they're made to make a quick buck. licenses aren't free and therefore there's less budget for the process of the development and in the end they are often lacking in the gameplay-department.

I actually think the Crocodile looks better than the Panda, the water looks almost real dripping off it, plus the water effects there are great also.

Most people at Gamersyde have alot of trouble understanding that. Look at every comment in every games theres always someone complaining about graphics. No one is ever happy, they examine every single freaking detail and that is things they will not notice when they play the game.

Are we looking at the same screenshots? do you work for the developer of this game?

The graphics are average at best look at the texture quality, 3d geometry not even close to any number of games released in the last few years

What part of what I said makes me a smart ass? Seriously, every fucking person who read your post disagrees with it, I was the first one who called you on it...

Sounds like you are getting aggeitaged, I was more refering to your smartass comment "you havent seen many games then..."

It seems you are only reading the posts you want to read also.

Anyways like I give 2 shits, I don't intend owning this game so it doesn't matter.

Tiz There are a couple of videos of him flitting about the 343 offices and talking about Halo memorabilia and while it isn't confirmed, I'd be surprised if he isn't on H6. (1 Hour ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz @amerakindesi: Staten along with Marty O'Donnell was a key figure at Bungie and is now Senior Creative Director at Microsoft, he joined too late to influence Halo 5, but just in time to start Halo 6. (1 Hour ago)
