Polish developer Polyslash and Klabater have unveiled the first trailer of We. The Revolution. Behind those unique visuals is a game set during the bloody atmosphere and political intrigue of the French Revolution. The title blends investigative mechanics, adventure elements, and randomization of events. The player controls a judge (incidentally, an alcoholic and a gambler) from the Revolutionary Tribunal and has to make moral choices. The court proceedings are filled with innocents, criminals, counter-revolutionaries and studying evidence and cross-examinations are key to ensure justice or your profit. If you plan to go to PAX West, there's a hands-on demo at the Indie Games Poland booth #6003. The game will be out in 2018 for PC/Mac/Linux.

This is the closes (setting) i've seen to my old fav. Irem's Ninja Spirit that i've seen. Feudal japan mixed with From's superb bosses also makes me think about Madhouse's Ninja Scroll. (6 Hours ago)
only played the first area (after the prologue), and it's more openworld-ish than the other From games. very vertical , and wider play area. (6 Hours ago)
