Since early 2007 is quite slow in terms of news, we've decided to take a closer look to the unused material we left from GSD4. As a starter, here are two laps of PGR3 (each in a different map), with footage of Pipomantis and I using the Force Feedback Wheel incrusted with a picture-in-picture effect. Caution: do not try to play this bad at home.
But obviously it needs to be better than what Hololens currently delivers to be interesting to me :P (25 minutes ago)
@alimokrane: Maybe not for hard core, immersive gaming, but for lighter games, party games or puzzle games and such? I think AR could be cool. (26 minutes ago)
@Megido: not to mention the fact that you need either a PS4 or a PC to actually play VR. HoloLens is definately not meant for gaming - agreed. (30 minutes ago)
But the price point atm seems pretty daunting, i mean how many people are willing to pay 400 bucks for an oculus rift? Some for sure, but hardly the mainstream masses. (49 minutes ago)
Honestly, i think VR could be great, though i think it'll be a while before it's anywhere near mainstream. I could imagine playing a next gen TES game with an oculus, no doubt... (50 minutes ago)
