I think this game looks rad and I'm glad it actually exists and will also be on PC :) Hoping it will have controller support though, looks like movement around the island could benefit from analog control etc.

Its so baffling that a genius like Chachi is making a populous-esche game in the realms of XBLA, where Molilolator hasn't done jack sh*t creative wise.

Being that it is releasing on Xbox 360 as well as PC, I am guessing that it will. I know for a matter of fact, that the OnLive "version", which is basically the PC version running some optimization, not only supports KB+M and a controller, but also touch interface for play over iOS and Android devices.

This is going to be great! I just hopes this sells well so dev's will see their is more need for populous-esque games.. I just need more of this!
(I would even be happy with a new black and white, but seeing how Moly has made a mess of his Fable franchise (No clear goal and instead of concentrating on solid gameplay he tries to put as many mediocre features in his games as possible) I would rather see another studio tackle a god game)

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Speaking of Spiders, I finished Technomancer yesterday. Fun game but dragged down by WAY too much backtracking and lack of different locations. (11 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: I'm not far enough into the game yet but I heard the game world is very interesting and full of great quests with multiple choices. Those kinda things sound great to me. (11 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i honestly think they'd do better making something on a smaller scale. like an isometric action RPG. that spiders (developer) could do with going that direction too. (12 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it just looks like a typical game from them to me. like they bit off more than they can chew and the results are just mediocrity across the board. (12 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: the facial animations are bullshit yes, animations in general are passable, combat isn't nearly as bad as I expected though. The world so far has been great, very very nice indeed. (12 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it still looks all kinda of garbage though. lol (13 Hours ago)

Moonwalker tearing was horrible, not to mention loading times. Plus it really doesn't look too bad either. Trees and foliage swaying in the wind, nice lighting. Good job PB. course all the jank is still there :) (13 Hours ago)
