Better late than never, here is the 1080p 60fps video of Dragon Age: Inquisition dedicated to the game's combat features and variety. The title will be out on Novermber 18 in North American and November 20 in Europe and Australia.
YAY!!! Thank you guys so much! Been wanting for more videos of Dragon Age: Inquisition to be posted on GSY.
PS. Any chance you guys can talk to/ask EA or BioWare to send GSY the "Lead Them or Fall Trailer", "Stand Together Trailer" (in English) and the 2 parts of the E3 demo walkthrough?
Thinking of something like you guys did MGS V:TPP with Konami/Kojima Productions.
Cant wait, great visuals at night, especially when spells and effects are happening and you pause the game then rotating the camera around, pretty cool.

I wouldn't have guessed 60fps in a million years for this game??!! Anyone else surprised? Is it confirmed? Has it been talked about somewhere?
Probably only for PC? If I somehow manage to get bored of Diablo 3: UEE when it drops, this game looks like it will be worth it. I didn't pay much attention to Dragon Age 2 after playing the awful demo, but, this game looks significantly better.

No way in hell will the game be 60fps on consoles.
A) do we care? And B) BF4 was and it ran on an earlier version of this engine. And looked stellar.
I have to say this does very nearly nothing for me. The original Dragon Age was perhaps my favorite game of all time. And I played it originally on the 360. But that game on the hardest difficulty, even with console controls was amazing.
It makes me sad that Bioware seems to now be in the business of using nostalgia for a by-gone era to lure players into new franchises only to strip them of what makes them really unique and just turn them into this: combat focused, actiony games. The original DA and ME games were my two favorite games of the last generation and of all time pretty much. I wish they'd make another game like that and then IMPROVE upon it instead of overhauling it.
Not to say this won't be a good game, I'm sure someone will like it. I just don't have the draw to it that others seem to. I'll probably give it a try but man, I miss that first game.

Personally i would LOVE for this game to run 60 fps on the consoles, but i have to stay realistic and accept it won't. Cannot really compare BF to DA, DA is open world and absolutely huge and BF isn;t nearly the size of it.
oh, and TIZ...you will get bored of D2, well, maybe...maybe the "fixes" in ROS helped...but D3 got very, very boring especially around inferno difficulty. The short storyline got old and the gear grinding was irritating to say the least, but maybe that's your bag, but...don't be expecting anything amazeballs from it.
Back on topic, I like that they're trying to hybridize DA & DA2's combat. There were things (combat wise) I liked about each. I do like that they're moving back to a more open environment, DA2 was much too "corridor" compared to the first.

I wonder if that's really true. I know the areas in DAI are large, but some of the China Rising environments are also massive. Presentation could go a long way at selling one as being larger than the other.

Yup, that's true. It remains to be seen exactly how large the environments are. The one they showed during E3 seemed pretty damn big.
Well, magic finally looks like it should, so damn real. The bad thing is that they imprinted such a advance strategy to RPG :( The life is already complicated why make games also like that....I miss games with great story but SIMPLE which glued you to TV to find whats next...... ow and not for 5-8 h like its nowdays :/

All Dragon Age games have an Easy/Casual difficulty mode, for those who just want to enjoy the story without having to worry about strategy, tactics and etc. In this mode your characters have lots of buffs and enemies have a lot of debuffs, plus no friendly fire.
This means your characters do much more damage and enemies do much less damage, plus you can spam the most powerful techniques without worrying if they will hit one of your characters.
PS4 is lacking a solid Hack&Slash atm...hopefully not for long...nothing beats burning through a bottle of vodka/cranberry and hacking and slashing your way till dawn then passing out, then waking up just in time to return your rental...sorry, off topic.
Yeah, DA does a good job of letting you tailor the experience to your skill. That was a great option...i played the series bass-ackwards, so going from DA2 to DAO was quite a trip.

What do you mean "PC Only"? The footage clearly says Xbox One in the filename and the controls on-screen looks to be Xbox One = 60fps on console?
The file name does say xbox one, but just so you're aware just about every game being released today on PC has native xbox controller support and will display xbox button prompts if a controller is utilized. It is a bit surprising to me that they've chosen to use the xbox version for promotional purposes however(assuming that the file name is indeed indicative of platform). Generally we've been seeing either PC or PS4 builds of games in trailers lately.

Must be some kind of deal with EA probably, just like how Ubi is showing The Division on Xbox One for the first time next week. Same as Sony having Far Cry 4 at their show and footage of it. If DAI footage is actually X1, that be incredibly sweet, but i think it's PC.
Ah yes i see it now too, filename indeed Xbox One and it shows only the X1 logo at the end. Kinda like a commercial for Xbox One, be rather shitty to use PC footage in that and kinda pass it off as X1 footage. I doubt that would be the first time though.
Dissapearing companions when being mounted, no quivers, tragic animations, narrow roads and illusion on open world.
Just try to lurk a little more, this game will be more then bad.

Please let this game truly come out in November.

B) Different developer, different goals. NFS uses the same engine too. It's 30fps.

I'd take the extra effects and and better everything that comes available to the developers when they basically have double the performance per sec.
In FPS and racing games I love 60fps but it always comes at the expense of other things.

Otherwise the game looks much more interesting than DA2. Looking forward to PC release
