I know I say it as every damn Diaries comes out, but - hey ! It's been a long time since the last one ! Never again, we promise ! So, for this brand new Gamersyde Diaries, we've spent some quality time with the sharp-edged Dark Sector, Digital Extreme's Gears of War clone that went out yesterday in Europe and a few weeks earlier in the United-States. The day we shot the show there was heavy rain over Paris, so please don't make our troubles worthless and watch it - twice !
By the way, as a continuation to the subtle changes we've been working on since the last Diaries, we tried our best taking the fat out of the show and producing something a bit shorter but more dense - and more importantly, something that will be delivered twice a month from now on. So, see you in two weeks, and we hope you'll enjoy this one !
Once you get immersed in what you're doing. By the end of it I really saw nothing wrong with a lot Poly Lara running around a realisticly rendered world at all. (1 Hour ago)
It's maintained the realistic proportions and movements of modern Lara. But combined them with an aesthetic that was classic (albiet polygonal) it's weird how you stop noticing those visual diffences (1 Hour ago)
But it's still more recognisably "tomb raider". I played half of rise of tomb raider with the classic polygonal Lara model and that was a good compromise. (1 Hour ago)
@MrWhite: I think there's still a bit of a jarring visual thing between the silicone sex doll proportions of Lara and the realistically realised world she's running around in. (1 Hour ago)
SFV is a very good game. I'm glad Capcom stuck with it despite the rocky start. (1 Hour ago)
