Gamersyde version 2 !

After weeks of public beta test with literally hundreds of changes done, here is finally Gamersyde version 2. Credits go to Snoopers for the concept and design and to our friend SleepyCod for the html/css/javascript. We spent hundreds of hours on this new version, tweaking things until we were happy with how it would work and look, and while we understand that it is quite a change, we are pretty confident that the spirit of the site is still there. Enjoy!

I know a couple of guys up in Redmond Washington who could use your help. I think they're window cleaners or something.

The right hand side is maybe a bit too busy...
But i love the small colour touches like the top menu and the html and css is done with great perfection, very tight and slim.

everything looks better and everything works faster too or at least it feels so :) i've had some problems with loading pictures since E3 but everything is working nicely now.

A lot of stuff has been optimized and/or use caches now, so yeah it should indeed be faster.

Looks so...white.
But it does look slick so its cool.
Will take some time to get used to it.

I initially wasn't sure what to make of the new look, but it's definitely better than the old design.

Well done gang!

prefered the old look to be honest - was much cleaner and less cluttered. Now the site looks alot like any other site you'd care to mention..

Have to see if it grows on me

I would like to object at the use of the American flag to select English :)

im a web designer and i love the new design. my only complaint is the empty space below the about section. if you could fill it somehow with more ews, more adds or make bigger the popular articles and popular games section it would be great.
Keep up the good work guys. i cant believe that the small xboxyde and playsyde sites has went so far ahead. you are a living proof that when you have a dream and chase it everything can be done, we love you

I guess i like the new design, though i also like the clean and ordered look of the old. All in all a good job, tough i have a harder time getting a good view of the front page.

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. pretty quick impressions. But even if the second area is a better stealth game.. I can't shake the feeling that Far Cry did a lot of the same things better. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Wildlands doesn't really appear to benefit much for its open world. It's huge and it's gorgeous but the poor driving and lack of interesting attractions do all of that space no favors. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker As for Wildlands, this guy explains perfectly what is wrong with it and I agree. [url] (1 Hour ago)
  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 Im trying to think what recent open world game gave you more big mechanics after halfway through (2 Hours ago)
  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 Its not necessarily adding more of them but spreading them out better. (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker will explore through and through. In most games it's just not worth it at all. (2 Hours ago)
  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 With Zelda for example the amount of system /mechanics is staggering but if you dont get any new one after halfway through the game then its a problem. Not saying that the case for Botw (2 Hours ago)
