We've been hard at work over the last few weeks on a new version of Gamersyde. The goal was to make a surprise launch for E3, and so I'm happy to report that we now have a public beta up and running. I know, this is a very web 2.0 way to do things, but in our case we still have some major issues to fix before the new site is ready for prime time (thanks for nothing IE7). So head on to the beta and enjoy the ride. Both versions will coexist nicely while sharing the same database until we feel confident the new site is up to our quality standards.
On the subject, anyone here remembers Keiji Inafune's quote about Japanese developers? Then he went to do Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z (sorry for mentioning it) and Mighty No. 9, real "gems". (1 minute ago)
@GriftGFX: Because some things in life should be enjoyed by everybody. :) (12 minutes ago)
@Megido: Some games, though extremely rare, do transcend genres and should be played regardless of a person's opinion about said genre. Same with movies, books, music, etc. (13 minutes ago)
@droezelke: Now, why did you have to go and ask me that?! Goddamn, I was going to post some of the reviews' last paragraph, but it would fill this so much. I will do so when GSY does a P5 news article (13 minutes ago)
How can it be essential if it is only for FPS fans? How can it be essential if it is only for RTS fans? How can it be essential if it is only for fighting games fans? How can it... (13 minutes ago)
How can it be essential if it's only for people that enjoy video games? It's not air! (34 minutes ago)
@droezelke: Well any genre, no matter how good the game is, kinda hinges on that the player doesn't hate the genre :P (1 Hour ago)
