I was thinking same thing, but then Sega aren't really good with loading times.

Nice to know the online part is working fairly well though.

One thing I am a bit worried too is that you select character before looking for matches. So do I need to disconnect game to get another character? Maybe it is just that demo version but...

Yea that is a bit odd, you would think you could see who you are going up against.

Doubt it will be lag free, but it should still be enjoyable. A good time to be a fighting game fan..

Well those 360 are like ~5 meters away from each other so it will be different when you play against someone on XBL. I guess we see in October then how it works.

That's a match from the Quest mode style character cards you get. You make a character, then you're stuck with him until you want to change to another 'profile' - i.e another 'character card' you've made on your hard drive.

I'm assuming you'd have other options like not using these cards and being able to select who you'd like at will. It's too obvious an irritation to miss if you couldn't.

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (20 minutes ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (37 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (52 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (54 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (55 minutes ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 2 hours @ 1.5 megabytes per second.. Steam isn't slow it's just f'n huuuuuge! (1 Hour ago)
