This has to be from an old build right? Not impressed at all! Drab, jaggies and low textures are the main elements here that stick out as a real sore!

And i thought I saw these same pics a few months ago... I swear!

who would`ve thought...low poly models, blurry textures on the ps3? naaahhhhh - neverrrr:)
but seriously, if these are not from a pre-alpha build, ps3 owners are in for a bad surprise :(
not impressed.

The very funny thing that keeps my mind so disturbed is the fact that PSX and IGN network have claimed that the PS3 version of Bioshock looks much better than the XBox 360 version. I kid you not... if developers are able to improve, visually, on a title like Bioshock than the PS3 has truly so much more in store for us. It is hardly imaginable to improof on a strikingly beautiful looking game like Bioshock. Sure, if you compare the PC version to the Xbox 360 it wins hands down but this is understandable... Dirext X 10, super graphics card etc, etc.

Sure the PS3 is capable of so much more but to port a game instead of building it from the ground up is a totally different thing. And to have a team work on Bioshock that isn't the team that worked on the Xbox 360 certainly have the odds against it.

If what IGN claimed is true about the visuals than we certainly are in for a great surprise. Bioshock on the PS3 will be even greater that Resistance 2 qua experience. Even visually it trumps the latter, much anticipated titles.

But let us wait and see... this is not the first time that IGN claimed a fact that later wasn't a fact but a mere impertinent observation of getting the community all riled up again!

But, seriously... no matter the outcome... Bioshock will truly be a great experience for those whom haven't had the privilege out playing in on the Xbox 360!

Something definitely seems off about the graphics. If they can throw in some awesome special features though it really doesn't matter. I've never chosen which version of a game to buy based solely on graphics. In due time they will all look crappy.

And it's coming out for full price........¬_¬
Way to make sure you lose ALL your customers...

Holy crap people, check out some 360 images, Bioshock has NEVER looked good it stills. Seeing as IGN have played it personally and said it looks BETTER, I take their word over yours.

EDIT: lol at jaggie noters, the 360 version had no AA, neither does this. Like I said go look at some un-touched up 360 shots.

Bioshock's textures were always low res. The lighting and atmosphere is what really made it look impressive. I see no difference in these shots.

Nietzsche @KORNdog: exactly, it’s nothing short of predatory. It’s literally using reasearch about the chemical reactions of the human brain to get people to spend more money than they want to (8 Hours ago)

KORNdog @Nietzsche: i agree. There os no justifiable reason to have the randomised element of loot boxes. The stuff should just be avalible in a store and you pay for what you want. (8 Hours ago)
