Thanks for the high quality videos!

When the main character goes to infiltrate the compound, it is so much like Far Cry 3's outposts, you can choose where and how to infiltrate. If the enemies' AI wasn't dumbed down for the demo, then I hope they improve it, still, looks very good so far, hope it delivers.

FC3 was an open world game .. how many outposts or security checkpoints are there going to be in BF:HL ?? as rare as once a chapter !?

I know, I meant it immediately made me think of Far Cry 3's outposts. Which to me, isn't a bad thing since it gives you lots of options to play exactly how you want to play, instead of something heavily scripted like the CoD's single player campaign.

Tactical gameplay in a BF game will never work with the type of players Battlefield games attract. Single player looks pretty interesting though.

This right here is why we need a Rainbow Six remake. Some of you might be too young to remember the originals on Windows 95, but you actually (before a level) mapped out the entire level, assembled different teams, and outfitted them with gear that made sense for the approach they were going to take.

If BF:HL had some type of planning editor for MP maps, and implemented a system that showed up on everyones HUD, there would be HUGE potential for it to be great, or even better than great--awesome.

Hopefully the Rainbow Six goes back to its roots, because what made the originals so great was being able to be tactical.

This actually looks pretty decent. The thing that annoys me with these games is how the A.I. just stand there firing at the player & the player just takes hit after hit, like some kind of terminator.

I have to say. That's impressive. Day 1

I can't agree. I think battlefields visuals are a lot better than cods.

This is looking so much better than COD or Battlefield 4.

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker underwater and explore around? We haven't seen that at all yet in any footage. (15 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @MrWhite: Yeah me too. Hoping to see some Wii U footage next week, but I'm sure it's fine. Graphics clearly aren't BOTWs strongest suit anyway, it is what it is. By the way I wonder, can we swim (16 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Melmoth: The Legend of Zelda is an incredible series. I've been meaning to replay all the games since the first one in chronological or release date order, but just haven't found the time yet. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth playing link to the past now, which is much more traditional design. (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i was completely stuck 2-3 times during the game when i couldn't find the next dungeon. so had to cheat (check guides) a few times. (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth I played the original zelda for the first time a few days ago. It was surprisingly similar to the souls games on many levels. Cryptic messages giving hints to progressing in the game. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @Moonwalker: Wouldn't doubt it. Can't wait for next week. It's been a while since I felt excited to get my hands on something as much. (2 Hours ago)
