But hey, I still have hopes its better than Fable 2. Cant understand how any1 liked the fights in that game
I have to say when it comes to fantasy RPGs, so far, Fable 2 and 3 has the best combat IMO for a guy like me who likes real-time combat.
character models look more real so thats good i guess
I think it's time for Peter to take a step aside.
it's funny that you need Physix to run cloth in Mafia 2, but here it is almost as good in Fable 2. funny stuff.

Good job Lionhead! I'll be swinging my axe in Albion again in October :)
The game is also v-locked, preventing any tearing, but as it was a debug build, it made the framerate quite slow, hopefully the release version will run better.
All in all, it looks like a good Fable game, more complete than the second one with a new Albion, and as such I'm thrilled to get my hands on the full game.
Now this is what I am talking about for combat in a RPG.

Looking forward to this :P
I agree with Sath, the combat has always been quite satisfying in Fable, but it is one of those games that is greater than the sum of its parts. None of the various gameplay aspects are groundbreaking, but come together so well, with the charm that is seldom seen from other games.
Looks great.
@Skoll
lol! :o)
Ummmhh I don't know maybe we need to plan our attacks with a good half hour in the menus.
The only things you need to "plan" is what magic you want in the quickmenu and weapons thats it. The combat is very similair to Fable 2 but seems to be more fluid which is nice.
