This year at Gamescom, we decided it would be nice to try to record a podcast so we can give you our impressions day by day. After a tiring first day yesterday, we found a bit of time to talk about the Microsoft Media Briefing and the showcase which was taking place right after. Blim, dark10x and I gathered around the dinner table to discuss what we saw (the conference, private presentations) and what we played. We even got to talk to some indie developers, so if you want to find out what we have to say and you don't mind chaos, download the mp3 and let us know if you want the second part. We should be able to record it tonight and put it up tomorrow. Because the two mikes we're using aren't exactly the same quality, we apologize if Blim doesn't sound as good as he should.
I didn't understand why he played so poorly either though. Subasic has been amazing the rest of the tourney. A big reason they won against Denmark and Russia (7 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: I agree. Penalty like that shouldn't happen in a WC final. Croatia's keeper was screened for almost all of those goals, aside from the deflection (7 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: oh god, that is amazing. the sounds and visuals are insane for a sim. (8 Hours ago)
@droezelke: For both them? Mbapp was 20 odd yards out. His positioning was shite. Should never have let that one past him. (8 Hours ago)
If FIFA didn't object so long to get a VAR, the concept could have been bug-fixed 10 years ago. (9 Hours ago)
@Tinks: The VAR is an exvellent tool, but the rules applied to the VAR are restricting them from intervening. Also, the hands-rule is so ill defined that it's completely open to interpretation. (9 Hours ago)
Then the shot came and as he tried to correct to the right, he was leaning on the wrong leg and went out of balance. (9 Hours ago)
