While i love each of these game (mgs2 less so) i dunno if it's worth it. Apparently neither MGS 2 or 3 are the substance / subsistence versions. At least not entirely. MGS3 has the improved OTS camera, and has metal gear 1 and 2. But has no boss battle mode, ape escape minigame etc. MGS2 is apparently based on the substance version. But i dunno if it has the boss battle mode, cinema mode, VR training missions or the skateboarding minigame. Seems weird not to offer the very best, most feature packed versions of each game.

Although there is an ultimate HD collection which comes with MGS4 and an MGS1 download code...limited to 4000 worldwide. Kinda tempted by that.

MGS3 is the Subsistence version. It includes MG1 & MG2 meaning that contents of the second disc (which include boss battle) are going to be included. The ape escape minigame is the only content that seems like it may not be available due to licensing issues.

MGS2 is the Substance version. If you look at the screenshots, you can see that one of them is actually from a VR mission, so I'm sure the rest of the bonuses are available as well.

We'll see. Once i have 100% confirmation, i'll probably pick it up. But currently team ico collection is my priority

I wonder how fun it will be to get achievements for this one.

If im being brutally honest it looks awful. MGS games were amazing looking when released but by today's standards this HD remake looks poor.

I will be glad to play these for zi 993094th time.

I'm not sure what you're expecting. Either they completely redo the graphics like Halo Anniversary and you only get one game. Or they can give you three games at a higher resolution for the same price.

I'm totally fine with their decision. And I think MGS3 still looks amazing.

Halo anniversary has kinda pushed it into hind sight of what a sham these are, i can emulate them on pc or buy the pc versions and have them look exactly the same as this, or just go and you know.. play the originals on my ps2, trophies and higher resolution is NOT worth my money when there is games galore coming out.

Hell if they released all these during ..i dont know.... THE SUMMER FUCKING DROUGHT! they would of done half decently sales wise, but everyone wants the xmas sales.. and then they will moan no one bough it.

if they didn't attach MGS to the HD collection, so why they did it with peace walker and not with portable ops? it sounds silly, but I think portable ops should be there as well, so you can learn whole story without having PSP...

Kojima didn't like Portable Ops.
