GC: Last one for Driveclub

GC: Last one for Driveclub

We have finally been able to record a video of the third playable track of DriveClub with someone playing correcty. So there it is, and it should be our final video of the game for this Gamescom.

Some nice post processing visuals. But there should be more environmental detail. Still looks great though. Gameplay looks lacking though. Better arcade racers already and to come out based in videos. Also needs better social aspects for a game focusing on that.

Yeah this footage doesn't look nearly as good as the one with the snowy mountains and the rain and such. I see what you mean about gameplay, i don't think this game is for me.

The day/night transaction, weather and detailed cars and tracks are all top notch. I simply want to cruise in this game. This would definitely be the game I had pick up if I had PS4. This is also setting up the bar pretty high for GT7.

DriveClub looks better than real life.

I wasn't particularly interested in this game last year, but since they showed these Canada and weather clips a couple months ago, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

The sense of speed and the sense of scale (even if it's closed-circuit) are simply amazing !

I just hope the weather patch will be released soon after the launch of the game, because the rain looks so damn gorgeous. And to think they'll also include blizzards...

About the game

What's up?
  • HR2
HR2 another weak show at Gamescom, ... Dogs on the stage, EA? Really? (2 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog [url] shitty Cgi trailer, but i'm liking the idea of this one. biomutant. action RPG. basically rocket racoon: the game (2 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts As long as they do it properly - do it justice to the original games, I'm fine with it. I personally would love a Xenogears remake, but that's beside Half-Life 3's level of impossibility. (3 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts I believe a lot more old games will start being "remade" after Crash's trilogy's immense success. You can bet a lot of publishers and developers will want to jump on all that nostalgia money train. (3 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @KORNdog: I forgot about Sedna. My wish would be a mix of both, the best parts of each. But I will still take each as they are. (3 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i'm personally looking forward to trying both. (3 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog now sedna is the opposite. it maintains the stylings, but plays completely differently. that couldn't and shouldn't be a called a remake... and it isn't. it's a sequel. (3 Hours ago)
